What is Goodnotes Education?
Goodnotes Education builds on the features you know and love from Goodnotes app but is fully redesigned for teaching. Turning Goodnotes into a more suitable teaching and class management platform, Goodnotes Education helps teachers and students streamline their workflows, get a better understanding of the class's learning progress and spend more time actually teaching!
What is the difference between Goodnotes Education and Goodnotes?
Goodnotes Education is designed to work with Goodnotes, everything you produce in Education will be used by your Students in their Goodnotes app. If you haven't used it before, Goodnotes is our flagship application, centred around digital note-taking for study, work, lifestyle planning and more.
Goodnotes is a consumer app, meaning anybody can download and use it for free, and it comes with a ton of features for studying, mind mapping, organising and also teaching.
Can I sync files between Goodnotes Education and Goodnotes?
Teachers can now use Goodnotes app for both:
- Personal use: Your personal notebooks, notes, and documents
- School use: Access to your school organization, class folders, and all teaching tools
For Existing Classroom App Users:
Unfortunately, existing documents from Goodnotes app can not be automatically synced with your Classroom files. You must manually export and then import the documents. You can find the instructions on how to move documents from one app to the other in this article.
How do I join my institution?
Once you have logged in and set up your Goodnotes app account, you can be invited by your School Admin.
What AI features does Goodnotes Education have?
Goodnotes Education's primary AI tool, Compare to Model Answer, can analyze and group student responses based on their similarity to a predefined correct solution. This tool is used in Smart Groups, significantly enhancing your grading efficiency, allowing you to focus more on student development.
