How can students and teachers access Goodnotes Classroom?
Students and teachers need to download Goodnotes from the App Store using Apple School Manager or the multi-device management version deployed through your school. Students and teachers then create an account by signing in with their school email address and their institution's chosen SSO identity provider (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Apple).
Once your institution has set up Goodnotes Education, your institution's administrators will receive access to the Admin Console enabling them to manage student and teacher accounts under the education license. Both teachers and students access Education features through the main Goodnotes app.
Can students share documents with each other in Goodnotes Classroom?
No, for our users' safety we have disabled the sharing function in Goodnotes Education.
What is the purpose of the SaaS license agreement?
The SaaS agreement is a contract that governs the relationship between the institution and Goodnotes. It protects us and you by defining the terms upon which we provide the services to you. If you have any questions about the agreement you can contact legal@gooodnotesapp.com.
Are institutions bound by Goodnotes’ Terms and Conditions?
Institutions are bound by our SaaS License Agreement. Students and teachers are bound by our terms and conditions when creating their Goodnotes accounts.
As a Pilot Institution, will I lose access to Goodnotes Classroom after the full launch of Goodnotes Education?
Pilot institutions have access for the duration agreed in their SaaS licenses. Since Goodnotes Education is now free for all educational institutions, you can continue using it at no cost after your pilot period ends, but you may need to migrate away from the Goodnotes Classroom application and back into the Goodnotes 6 app.
